Profile

Biography

I am a Lecturer in Management and Marketing at Essex Pathways Department. I am also currently serving as the DDLO and hold the position of Coordinator for the EBS-Econ Pathways. Since 2021, I have been involved in the project “Students as Active Participants in Their Learning” where I am exploring academic coaching interventions to inform strategic insights into higher education policy at the University of Essex. My research interests are two-fold. The first is consumer culture, ranging from place marketing, and tourism, to the relationship between consumption and identity. My second area of interest is the development and application of qualitative research methodologies with a particular focus on grounded theory, visual methods, as well as working with vulnerable groups of people in post-conflict areas.
