Research interests

Identity, Identity-work

My research interest centers on the processes through which individuals within organisations construct their personal and professional identities, and the manifestations of these identities within various organisational change settings. This inquiry delves into the intricate ways in which these identities are enacted and evolve across different contexts of organisational transformation.

Organisational Change Management

My scholarly interests are deeply rooted in the intangible dimensions of organisational change. I am particularly drawn to investigating the dynamic interplay between organisational change practitioners and their contextual environments. This exploration focuses on elucidating how these relationships evolve and interact over time, revealing the nuanced and temporal aspects of organisational transformation.

Emotional Sensemaking

My research focuses on sensemaking in organisational change, examining how individuals and groups interpret and respond to change, shaping their reactions and behaviors. I study the impact of emotional and identity dynamics on these processes. By exploring the iterative and interactive nature of sensemaking, my work aims to uncover how organisational members navigate and understand complex transformations.

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning

My research centers on the transformative potential of AI and Machine Learning in organisations. I study how these technologies can optimize business processes, enhance decision-making, and drive organisational change. This involves examining the interaction between AI/ML and organisational dynamics to identify key factors for successful integration and resulting shifts in business models. My goal is to reveal how AI and ML can create more adaptive, efficient, and competitive enterprises.
