Biography
I currently work as a Research Development Manager for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Essex. I support academic colleagues in generating applications to a range of funding bodies. My role also includes finding and distributing funding calls, liaising with funders, and providing training for academics. I joined Essex as a Research Impact Officer and had responsibility for developing case studies for REF 2014. Prior to that I worked in various academic and academic-related roles at the University of Leeds, having completed my PhD in History and Philosophy of Science there in 2008.
