Lindsey has worked at the University in a number of roles since 1998 and is a trained marketer and associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her current role is driving the direction of marketing and recruitment in line with the Universitys overarching strategic aims and objectives, and supporting the Director with section-wide initiatives and management (as part of Communications and External Relations senior management team). Her role also involves developing close working relationships with colleagues across Professional Services and academic departments to ensure opportunities for student enrolments are maximised. The remit of Lindseys team continues to develop in line with the rapidly changing HE environment and the developments in the world of marketing. Her team is responsible for: all student recruitment marketing, including social networking and digital media; UK, EU, Americas, Russian and Japanese student recruitment; branding; pre- and post-application open days and applicant days; development of the ever-evolving customer relationship management system focused on prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment; conversion management; advertising; and market intelligence.
