Biography

I started at the University in May 2016 as a Resourcing Adviser within the Resourcing Team (part of the People & Culture Section). In 2017 I moved to the role of Project Officer and Resourcing Adviser within the same team. In my current role, Lead Resourcing and Compliance Officer, I am responsible for: 1. Ensuring the University is compliant with all aspects of immigration legislation and its visa sponsorship requirements relating to staff 2. Ensuring process compliance with UKVI sponsored worker and visa holder requirements, including issuing certificates of sponsorship, reviewing and maintaining records and reporting changes to the Home Office 3. Monitoring visa expiry and reportable changes plus various recruitment focused reporting/monitoring 4. Working with the Head of Resourcing to assist with the implementation and delivery of a wide range of recruitment related projects and strategic level initiatives
