Biography

Dr Egbon is a Lecturer in Accounting at the Essex Business School, University of Essex, UK. His research emerges from the intersection of organisations, sustainability and society and he explores the topics of accountability, social and environmental reporting, NGO accountability and community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability (including the Sustainable Development Goals). His recent works have focused on the accountability relations of multinational corporations and host communities in developing economy context. He also currently interested in accounting for water in relation to meeting sustainable development goal especially in developing countries and how water-intensive corporations account for water in developing countries.
