Biography

Lucy Davies is a lecturer in Clinical Legal Education in the School of Law and the Housing Law Supervisor at Essex Law Clinic. She has a background in human rights protection fieldwork, Legal Aid housing law and advice provision in welfare benefits and debt. As part of her role in the Essex Law Clinic she supervises the provision of housing advice by student advisers in the law clinic and coordinates projects in partnership with local community groups addressing homelessness, public legal education in housing conditions and tenants rights, welfare benefits provision, legal aid and the welfare of vulnerable migrants. Ongoing projects include the set-up and coordination of the Beacon House Homelessness Project and the Red Cross NRPF casework project.
