Profile

Biography

Charan is a Lecture at the Essex Business School (EBS), University of Essex. Prior to joining the University of Essex, he was a Lecturer at International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE), Coventry University, and a University Teacher at Loughborough University London. He holds a PhD from Essex Business School, University of Essex. His research interests include entrepreneurship, marketing, and international business. He has published in international journals including Journal of Business Research (JBR), International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour Research (IJEBR), International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (IJEIM), Studies in Higher Education, Journal of the International Council for Small Business. Charan has reviewed for Journal of Business Research, Business Ethics: A European Review, Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies, International Journal of Management Reviews, Social Enterprise Journal, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour Research (IJEBR), Journal of Business Ethics. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Current PhD research supervision: Nour Abdullah (as a second supervisor)
