Biography
Junaid Ashraf holds a PhD in accounting from University of Essex. He is a fellow member of Association Chartered Certified Accountants (Uk) and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. His research interests are in management accounting and management control practices of state owned enterprises in developing countries. He has published in Work, Employment & Society, Management Accounting Research, International Journal of Accounting, Critical Perspectives on Accounting and Financial Accountability & Management. Before joining academia, he served as manager assurance services in one of the top four international accounting firm in Pakistan
