Profile
Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer on the doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and a qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, teaching primarily on the systemic pathways in Year 2 and Year 3, with an interest in neuro-affirming and inclusive practice in teaching and education. I worked as an A level Psychology teacher from 2014-2022, whilst pursuing training in Family and Systermic Psychotherapy in the later years of my teaching. I have worked in CAMHS in the NHS and currently also work for a counselling charity, Talk Listen Change, as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist specialising in working with neurodivergent individuals and couples. My recent Masters research focused on exploring the experience of training in systemic therapy as an autistic individual and I am interested in continuing to explore how educational institutions might better serve neurodivergent individuals, particularly those in training as psychotherapists and clinical psychologists.
