Biography

Christian Ghiglino joined Essex in September 2006. Christians main areas of research are economic theory and economic growth. His research agenda includes: the role of the income distribution on long run growth and instability; the modality of idea creation leading to technological progress; optimal taxation in face of credit restrictions and government budget deficit restrictions. Christian is Associate Editor of the Journal of Economic Theory and of the International Journal of Economic Theory. Recent publications have appeared in the Journal of Economic Theory, International Economic Review and Economic Theory.
