Biography
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist (MBACP) working with children, young people, and adults whose lives have been impacted by trauma, identity conflict, and disrupted attachment experiences. My clinical work is grounded in an understanding of how unconscious processes, family dynamics, and social narratives shape emotional development, behaviour, and self-perception. I have experience delivering therapeutic interventions in schools, prisons, community organisations, and family systems, with a particular interest in the emotional lives of young people who are misunderstood, marginalised or labelled as challenging. My work is trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and focused on helping individuals make sense of the internal worlds they have had to build in response to difficult or unsafe environments.

Research interests
Racial identity, trauma, and the unconscious in therapeutic work
I am interested in the intersection of racial identity, relational trauma, and psychodynamic processes, particularly in young people who have experienced exclusion, systemic disadvantage, or contact with the criminal justice system. My work focuses on how unconscious defensive structures, internalised narratives, and cultural projections shape emotional expression, relational patterns, and engagement in therapy.
