Apprenticeships Hub
The Apprenticeships Hub is the central team responsible for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships at the University of Essex.
We have been delivering Higher and Degree Apprenticeships since 2016 and currently deliver Apprenticeships in the following subject areas:
Key activities of the Apprenticeships Hub
- Support academic departments with the development of new apprenticeships
- Ongoing support for Academic Departments delivering Higher and Degree apprenticeships
- Writing and submission of Apprenticeship Bids in partnership with Academic Departments
- Administration for Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Steering Group
- Completion and updating of Individualised Learner Record for apprentices
- Employer engagement and liaison
- Liaison with End Point Assessment Organisations on behalf of employers
- Co-ordinating National Apprenticeship Week activity
- Ensuring compliance with the Education and Skills Funding Agency requirements
- Keeping up to date with national apprenticeship activity/news/developments
- Participation in Outreach activities
- Promotion of apprenticeships via social media and webpages
