Join us as we launch our new Centre for Behavioural Science
At Essex, our research community is committed to influencing policy and practice. No new policy, technology, or innovative practice can succeed if we don’t understand how humans will respond to it.
For more than three decades, we have been leaders in behavioural science research, and our work, like that on the well-being benefits of green exercise, has been hugely influential.
Now is the time to build on that established expertise and expand the possibilities for collaboration, which is why we’ve launched our new Centre for Behavioural Science. The launch will take place on Thursday 20 June from 11.00am – 12.45pm in the Hexagon, followed by a light lunch.
Behavioural Science at Essex is multidisciplinary, with over 100 researchers making an impact across science and health, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. At their fingertips are exceptional testing facilities in the purpose-built and controlled environment of our Behavioural Science Lab, which is open to all. The Centre provides opportunities to collaborate, and support to access funding for research and development.
Please join us at our launch event to learn more about the Centre, our Behavioural Science Lab, and research projects from University of Essex colleagues.
