Rewilding the Sea is good for biodiversity, the health of fish stocks and carbon sequestration. It is already happening and the narratives it is creating are challenging existing uses of the ocean.

There are many heartening examples of it and these go against the prevailing mood of gloom in environmental prognostications. We just need more of them.

Speaker

Charles Clover is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Blue Marine Foundation.

Charles made his name as an author and environmental journalist writing principally for The Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph for which he was Environment Editor for 22 years. His book The End of The Line and the award-winning documentary film that it inspired raised overfishing as a global problem.

His latest, Rewilding the Sea, moves the story on and highlights examples of which bring hope.
