Cooking nutritious and healthy meals in the kitchen is a key skill and your time at university is a brilliant opportunity to practise this. Residence Life have organised for the British Nutrition Foundation to deliver a session to Essex students to find out more about eating well as a student and develop confidence in the kitchen.
The 1 hour session will cover:
- Eating well – the basics
- Keeping yourself and others safe in the kitchen
- A demonstration of a simple, versatile budget busting recipe, ideal for using up leftovers
- Ideas for quick, easy and healthy meals on a budget
