Lake is a Partner at Cambridge-based accountants and business advisers, PEM and leads their Corporate Finance team. He advises owner-managed companies on management buy outs, corporate acquisitions and disposals, succession and strategic planning, and valuation.

Lake trained and qualified with EY and then moved into venture capital with 3i plc, before returning to EY as a Corporate Finance Adviser. He has also spent time in industry as a Finance Director. He joined PEM to establish PEM Corporate Finance LLP in 2004.

Lake is a chartered accountant, has the ICAEW corporate finance qualification, and is a member of the ICAEW Valuations Special Interest Group.
