Forum II workshop speakers

Godwin Mifsud

Godwin Mifsud is a former alumnus of the University of Essex (MSc in Economics, Class of 2004).

He is an economist and serves as the Director General of the Economic Policy Department within the Ministry for Finance and Employment in Malta. Mr Mifsud is a career civil servant and over the years he contributed to various policy streams, most notably in the area of pensions and European affairs.

He presently serves as the Chairperson of the Ageing Working Group of the Economic Policy Committee (EPC), which is responsible to draw a keynote publication, the Ageing Report. He is also a visiting academic at the University of Malta.

Simone David

Simone David is a Premier Portfolio Manager with over 20 year experience within the Financial sector.

She is currently based at Barclays Bank. Her previous roles have entailed working within both the Business and Retail sectors of banking.

Simone has a passion for Diversity and Inclusion and has been instrumental in its' promotion within her area of work.
