Join us for the Dean of Health and Social Care's Autumn Lecture, where Dr Shashi Hirani, from the School of Health Sciences, City, University of London, will giving a talk on 'Acceptance of Technology Enabled Care: Are we turning the corner?'.

Dr Hirani is a Chartered Health Psychologist and Reader in Health Psychology / Health Services Research at the School of Health Sciences, City University London. Shashi obtained his BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology at City University London and then went on to complete his MSc and PhD degrees in Health Psychology at University College London, where he was Lecturer in Research Methods and Statistics on the MSc in Voice Pathology and Programme Director for the MSc in Health Psychology.

Shashi's research interests include the use of assistive technologies in health and social care, the application of health psychology in voice pathology and the design, delivery and evaluation of self-management/behaviour change interventions in chronic health conditions.

This lecture will take by Zoom, and the room will open at 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start.
