16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence
12:00 - 14:00
The SOS Bus provides a safe haven at the centre of the night time economy for any vulnerable person or anyone at risk. They have on board adapted treatment rooms. This vital service all run by volunteers will be on campus and would like to chat to students about keeping safe on nights out. Essex Police and our own Security and Campus Safety colleagues will also be out on the squares to talk to students and staff.
16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence is aimed at organisations to support them to take action against domestic abuse and violence.
At the University of Essex, we really want our community to feel safe so as part of this campaign we have invited local organisations to join us. As part of a Future Leaders programme we have planned 16 days of activities across all campuses.
