After Essex celebrates the journeys and accomplishments of our diverse and inspiring alumni around the globe.

Raudhah Nazran (LLB Law, 2019) is a female-founder and social entrepreneur with a big mission in mind - to tackle worldwide youth unemployment.

Raudhah's interest in the world of social entrepreneurship began at Essex through her work with the Essex Enactus Society, an international social entrepreneurship project for university students. She became the first female Asian President and lead the society to become one of the top three Enactus social enterprises in the UK.

Newly graduated, inspired and driven to make a difference, Raudhah launched Accelerate Global, a social enterprise offering career and entrepreneurship upscaling programs for the under privileged or marginalised groups in Malaysia, many who were hit hardest in the pandemic.

With a passion for social justice, Raudhah's efforts been recognised on a global scale. She was named International Student of the Year, addressed UK Parliament on youth unemployment, spoke at the United Nations Humans Rights Conference on children's rights to education and has collaborated with Malaysia's Ministry of Education on an entrepreneurship programmes for low-income youths.

Raudhah is leading such an inspiring and impactful career and we can't wait to learn more about the story of the 25-year-old CEO.
