Mini Open Day

Are you a student thinking of coming to University in October 2021 but haven't visited Essex yet? 

Here's your chance! 

For obvious reasons, it wasn't possible to host on-campus events in 2020 so you may well have missed out on visiting us. Well, this Mini Open Day is designed to help you get to know Essex. It does exactly what it says on the tin, it's a mini version of our main Open Days. The day will be shorter than a main Open Day, but if you want to take a look around campus, or just get a feel for the place before you submit your application we're here for you. Maybe you've applied but haven't visited us yet, whatever the reason, everyone is welcome. Bring your friends and family along too!

Our Mini Open Day will begin at 12.00pm, and will finish at 3.00pm. Please make sure you check-in at the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall (the big shiny silver building).

Travel bursary

It's been a tough year for us all, so to make things a little easier, we'd like to offer you a bursary to cover the costs of your travel to the Mini Open Day (up to £100). You can view our terms and conditions here and download the form to complete here.

Please note:

Due to extended building works, we unfortunately are unable to show any rooms in The Copse accommodation tomorrow at our Mini Open Day.

If you are due to attend this Mini Open Day specifically to see The Copse, we do sincerely apologise and would recommend rebooking for one of our later Mini Open Day dates; Wednesday 1 September or Wednesday 8 September.
