Are you considering a postgraduate degree in the School of Health and Social Care? Join Caroline Bald to find out more about our MA Social Work.

Did you know that you don't need an undergraduate degree in social work to undertake our MA Social Work? We welcome applicants from backgrounds including law, the social sciences, and humanities. All you need is a passion for human rights and social justice.

In this talk Caroline Bald, course lead for social work in the School of Health and Social Care, will be joined by a student representative from the student-run Social Work and Social Justice Society. Together they will present an introduction to social work followed by a series of topics including:

  • overview of the course
  • the student experience
  • how the application process works
  • bursary allocation

At the end a Q&A session will allow you to ask any questions you may have.

You can register for this event on Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

If you are unable to attend you can contact Caroline Bald (caroline.bald@essex.ac.uk) to find out more about our postgraduate social work degrees.
