Each week we'll be posting a selection of online programmes hosted by our fantastic Residents' Assistant (RA) team. Take part in any events or activities which you're interested in. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, stay connected, and be part of our online community.
All Residence Life programmes are open to both on and off campus students from any location – no booking needed, just log on and join the event at the start time.
What's on this week?
Here is a selection of festive themed activities to join in with as we wind down to the winter break.

Virtual Christmas Card Making
Monday 14 December 2020
6-7pm
Zoom Meeting ID: 992 7029 5736
Making your own Christmas cards is a great way to get into the festive spirit and put some personal thought and creativity into Christmas cards you write for friends and family.
This is an informal Zoom get-together to chat about our plans for the holidays, our cultural and family traditions, but also make Christmas cards using phrases and words in other languages from around the world. Hosted by SRA Jemma (Copse).
Thursday 17 December 2020
6pm
Zoom Meeting ID: 919 9128 1982
Before heading home for the winter break, join us in this informal Zoom social. Bring your hot chocolate! This will be a chance to share your festive traditions each year and have a general catch up around what you have planned for the holidays. We all have different plans and ways of celebrating the festive period, and this is a good networking opportunity to meet other students. Hosted by RA Ella (South Courts)
Thursday 17 December 2020
8 - 10pm
Zoom Meeting ID: 931 5116 9358
If you're staying on campus over the Christmas period, prep ahead for your Christmas Day meal with a 'cookalong' with one of our RAs. They'll be showing you a few recipes from food preparation and technique, cooking and cleaning, as well as safely storing leftovers. Connect with others whilst developing your cooking skills. Hosted by RA Kris (South Towers).
