The New British Cookbook
Lisa Smith (Essex), Rachel Rich (Leeds Beckett) and Adam Crymble (UCL) will be discussing their project on George III’s menus and British cookery, and what they can tell us about national identity and food. Leah Hyslop, food writer, will be chairing. There will also be a virtual collection of recipes via social media, which will eventually be hosted on the site dinners.hypotheses.org. This event is part of the Being Human Festival. Further details to follow, and it will be bookable (free) via Eventbrite.
