At Home With an Art Lover

This popular series continues to open the door into the homes of University of Essex art lovers...

This week Dr Michael Tymkiw,  from the School of Philosophy and Art History, will tell us about Doris Salcedo’s fascinating installation work Palimpsest. 

We bring together our wonderful University of Essex academics, curators and students as they reveal the art that as inspired them to think differently about the world.

The focus of their attention might be a picture on their wall, something in a book pulled from a shelf, an artwork from a collection - or even sharing a video clip on their computer - but whatever it is, it will open a window into their world.

It's one of the ways we want to stay connected and bring our communities back together again while we're apart.
