Becca is Head of Marketing for Essex Business School. She has worked in the Higher Education sector for 7 years and has a particular interest in the role of graduates in start-up businesses. This is Becca’s first time in Colombia and she is looking forward to learning more about the business landscape here.

Clara Leal was born in Bogotá, Colombia and is the proud mother of Tomás (13) and Simón (11). She holds a BA in Law and Political Science, Master in Management and Public Policies and received her LLM in International Human Rights Law from University of Essex in 2011. For the last 20 years she has been working in Colombia on Public Policies, Government, Human Rights, Transitional Justice and Peace Building. Clara is currently a consultant for the United Nations, the Colombian Government, and NGOs.
