Join us for a talk by Dr Steve Fleming on metacognition

This week we are joined by Dr Steve Fleming from the University College London for his talk entitled 'Knowing right from wrong: How metacognition drives belief change'.

This talk will discuss developments from 'the MetaLab', a cognitive neuroscience lab based at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging at UCL. They deal with questions such as how does the human brain engage in reflective awareness and try to understand how people self-reflect and monitor their cognition and behaviour.

The Speaker

Dr Steve Fleming is a Sir Henry Dale Wellcome Trust/Royal Society Fellow at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, University College London where he leads the Metacognition Group. He is also the Executive Director of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness and is actively involved in public engagement, having given a number of public talks about neuroscience and consciousness both in the UK and the USA.
