We are excited to welcome a very special guest and author, Dorian Lynskey, to Essex for this week's seminar.

Come and join us for our first open seminar event where Journalism Lecturer Paul Anderson will be joined by writer, acclaimed author and columnist, Dorian Lynskey. Dorian will be presenting his book, The Ministry of Truth: A Biography of George Orwell's 1984.

Dorian has been writing about music, film, and politics for more than twenty years for publications including The Guardian, The Observer, GQ, Q, Empire, Billboard, and The New Statesman. He has also written for publications such as Mojo, Spin, Blender, Select, Mixmag, The Word, The Big Issue and The Face. Beyond this, Dorian also hosts the Remainiacs podcast.

The seminar will be followed by informal drinks in the Common Room.

All are welcome to attend this exciting event.
