We all know that exercise plays an important part in keeping your body and mind healthy, but it can be hard to make time in our busy schedules.
That’s why we’re opening up some of our fitness classes and active sessions for all University of Essex Staff.
Whether you’re an existing Essex Sport member, or just fancy trying something new, during the first week in September take some time away from your desk to get active.
A few of the classes and sports you can try are:
- Walking Netball
- Back to Netball
- Badminton
- Zumba
- Basketball
- Futsal and Football
- Legs, Bums & Tums
- Yoga
At lunch time on Friday 6 September, we will be hosting a walk around the campus grounds finishing with refreshments in Time Out. Please meet us outside the Essex Sport Arena at 1pm.
To book on to a session, please contact the Sports Centre Reception on 01206 873250 or use the Essex Sport app - simply select the tile at the top of the homescreen titled, 'University of Essex Staff Active Week', and choose your session!
