Organised by the University-based Business and Local Government Data Research Centre, the first workshop is aimed at the not-for-profit sector. Held on Wednesday 21 August from 9.30am-3.00pm, the Impact Assessment Course will give charities the chance to hear from leading researchers about how analysing and evaluating data can strengthen grant applications and demonstrate their impact and improve the services they deliver. The second event – Data-Driven Marketing – is on Thursday 5 September from 9am-2pm and will feature workshops led by industry experts from the University and opportunities to network with researchers and data analysts who specialise in marketing and business.
