In this first talk of a two day event, Professor Anthony Vidler will be speaking on subject of architecture and design in Europe in the atomic age.
Professor Anthony Vidler will be in conversation with Professor Dawn Ades. They will discuss some of the themes of Professor Vidler’s work, with particular reference to surrealism and the 1978b exhibition Dada and Surrealism Reviewed.
Professor Vidler is a Professor at the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union. He is an architectural historian and critic.
Professor Dawn Ades is a Fellow of the British Academy, a former trustee of Tate and Professor of the History of Art at the Royal Academy.
