This History Research Seminar meets on Wednesday afternoons during term time to discuss a paper by a visiting historian or a member of our academic staff.

This week's speaker is Birkbeck University of London historian Professor Matt Cook.

Matt is a cultural historian specializing in the history of sexuality and the history of London in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He has a background in literary and cultural theory and strong interests in cross-disciplinary work and public and community history.
