BUCS Championship Play-off Semi-finals

Can Essex reach BUCS Big Wednesday?

2019 marks the centenary of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). Essex has never had a team reach the Championship final at Big Wednesday, but this year we have three teams in the semi-finals. 

On Wednesday 13 March, two teams play at home in the Essex Sport Arena, with one team away at Durham University, Queen’s Campus.

5.30pm Women’s Basketball, University of Essex vs Durham University, Essex Sport Arena
7.30pm Men’s Volleyball, University of Essex vs Northumbria University, Essex Sport Arena

All are welcome; staff, students, friends and family, with free admission, so please come along and support our students in their campaign to the finals.
