Writing Clear Sentences

This workshop will focus on writing clear and communicative sentences.

Students can have difficulties structuring sentences that make sense and are grammatically correct, and tutor feedback is not always clear in identifying the precise problem. In this session we will consider what makes effective sentences and look at some common problems.

Our workshops run all year round at our Helpdesk in the Silberrad Student Centre, and cover all aspects of academic skills, maths and statistics.  We also offer drop in writing and maths clinics where you can bring your work and get advice.
