The Literature, Film and Theatre Studies Seminar meets weekly, during term time.

His first book Promised Land was named both Football Book Of The Year and Sports Book Of The Year. His second book Does Your Rabbi Know You’re Here? was short-listed for Football Book of the Year. His most recent book, A Yorkshire Tragedy was chosen as one of the 2016 Guardian sports books of the year. He has written three plays, all performed in Leeds: Promised Land, Playing The Joker and Leeds Lads. He has been a journalist for almost 30 years, writing for a wide variety of national newspapers.
