SPSS - Entering and coding data

This session is part of a series of 5 workshops designed to introduce SPSS and provide hands-on support in understanding and implementing some key statistical methods for research in the social sciences.

This session will cover: 

• Introduction to the SPSS interface
• Defining variable types (nominal, ordinal, scale)
• Entering and formatting data correctly
• Using coding for nominal variables
• Transforming and calculating new variables
