Telling the stories of refugee entrepreneurs

Visit us and experience a vibrant multimedia exhibition, celebrating entrepreneurial refugees confronting their daily challenges, through business and social venture creations.

This exciting exhibition features an interactive refugee marketplace where visitors can touch and feel a range of products, as well information about how universities around the world can support entrepreneurial refugees’ business endeavours.  Children are also welcome and will be able to take part in a shopping role play activity, as well as draw, build and decorate their own mini stall.

Join Dr Caleb Kwong from Essex Business School as he hosts this engaging exhibition, from 1pm - 5pm on Saturday 10th November at the University of Essex, Southend-on-Sea Campus.

This event is part of the nationwide Festival Of Social Science 2018 and is completely free of charge.
