Principles and practicalities of how to write well at university
Knowing how to write at university and what is expected of you can feel confusing.
This session will help you with both practical ways of improving your writing and help you think about the principles and questions that underpin the idea of academic style.
It doesn't matter what subject you study, or what level you are at - the things that make for good academic writing are the same.
Anyone can write well - so come along and find out how.
Our workshops run all year round at our Helpdesk in the Silberrad Student Centre, and cover all aspects of academic skills, maths and statistics. We also offer drop in writing and maths clinics where you can bring your work and get help from one of our advisors.
