Teaching Fair 2018

The Teaching Fair is a must for anybody who is thinking about a career in teaching.

The Teaching Fair will give you the opportunity to find out what it’s really like to be a teacher, how to get into teaching and take the opportunity to speak to schools and providers who are recruiting for full time, part time and voluntary positions.

There are lots of routes into teaching and this can be confusing! This event is designed to help you find out about the different pathways available and speak to schools and education providers who are recruiting for teacher training schemes, interns and work experience. You will hear from experts in the industry, find out how to present a good application and learn about what employers are expecting from you. You will also find out about funding and paid positions. If you are interested in teaching a STEM subject you could be entitled to up to £30,000 for completing your teacher training!

The exhibition will take place in the Silberrad Student Centre Foyer between 5pm and 8pm.

You are welcome to arrive and register any time between 5pm and 7.30pm.

As well as the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to attend short presentation sessions in the Lakeview room. We advise you to arrive at the Lakeview room at least 5 minutes prior to the presentation start time to secure your place. Spaces will be allocated on a first come basis.
