The Philosophy and Art History Research Seminar meets weekly in term on Thursday afternoons to discuss a paper by a visiting philosopher, art historian, or a member of our academic staff.

This week's speaker is University of Essex senior lecturer, Dr Caspar Pearson.

Caspar Pearson specialises in the art, architecture and urbanism of the Italian Renaissance. In addition, he writes about some aspects of contemporary architecture and urbanism, particularly in relation to the European Union and the process of globalisation. His work also explores issues relating to historiography and exhibitions.

The seminar will be followed by informal drinks at Top Bar and a meal.
