Postgraduate Research Welcome and Induction Day

Your chance to get to know more about your research degree, your department and the University of Essex

Your PGR Welcome and Induction Day is a vital part of your first week.

The morning will be spent in conference with fellow research students from across the University, before you spend time after lunch in your own department. 

During the day, you’ll have a chance to meet and network with the Dean of Postgraduate Research and Education, academic staff and other PGR students. You can also find out more about the academic, personal and developmental support available to you during your studies.
