Innovation Series: Mapping Brexit

Join us for the latest in our Innovation Series – expert talks and networking for business.

Dr Maxwell Roberts will give an informal 15 minute talk on how he designed the Brexit Maps, a tool for businesses to understand Brexit at a glance and plan for a new commercial environment. He will explain:

• why ‘tube-style’ maps are (sometimes) a good way to show complex issues
• how the Brexit Maps were laid out to optimise their clarity
• how the maps show Brexit issues interconnecting between sectors
• why the maps are ideal for helping businesses plan ahead

The talk will be followed by the opportunity to network with University staff, business tenants and SMEs from across Essex.

Sietske de Groot, co-creator of the Brexit maps and Director of TradePeers Ltd, will also be present to answer questions about Brexit and business planning.

A selection of the Brexit maps will be on display.
