The content of this seminar might be regarded as occupying ground somewhere near the crossover between recreational and rather more serious mathematics. We utilise a mathematical object known as the ‘Fibonacci word’ in order to generate an infinite family of infinite sequences possessing a particular property, with a view to obtaining a general formula for the nth term of each of these sequences. Finally, we give some ideas on how this might be taken a little further.
