Feedback from your lecturers is one of the most important resources you have at university - but too often it goes to waste.
Whether it's because you don't understand what your lecturer is trying to tell you, that the comments are too brief, or that you don't understand how what you have produced relates to mark schemes and grade criteria, it is all too easy to not act on feedback. But in order to improve, it is vital to understand what your lecturers are trying to tell you, and to be able to put their advice into practice.
This workshop will help you think about how you relate to feedback and comments, what lecturers are trying to tell you, and what strategies you can put in place to get better marks in future.
Our workshops run all year round at our Helpdesk in the Silberrad Student Centre, and cover all aspects of academic skills, maths and statistics. You can also book a 1:1 appointment with an advisor to talk over anything in your studies that you need help with.
