A free talk by leading art historian Dr Matt Lodder.

Travel has often been integral to tattooing, from its use amongst pilgrims, its presence in nautical and seafaring cultures, and as a feature in today's holiday tattoos. This event discusses the meaning of tattoos and invites the audience to discuss their own experiences.

This event is part of the Being Human Festival.

The talk will take place at the Jaywick Martello Tower.
