Meet The Tribe

The Tribe is the official University of Essex student section bringing student fans together to stand behind all representative sport teams at Essex and create of the best home advantages in the country.

We proudly boast the proudest, loudest, and most inclusive supporters club in the UK. You don't need to be a star on the court or out on the field to join The Tribe. No matter where we play, or who we play, we make the gameday experience at Essex truly unforgettable and put you in the middle of the action.

Essex Students receive free admission to all Rebels and BUCS sporting events with their Essex I.D.

There's more to being a Tribe member than just leading chants, waving flags, and supporting our teams. Your membership to this exclusive supporter’s club gets you the following:

Joining The Tribe is completely free.

You can pick up your official free Tribe t-shirts at one of our t-shirt drops throughout the year which will be communicated through our social media channels.

The first t-shirt drop will be at the Tribe Takeover Fanzone on Saturday 7 October, 4-5.30pm.
