Profile

Biography

Yikai Wang joined the University of Essex as a Lecturer in September 2019. He obtained a PhD degree in Economics with summa cum laude from the University of Zurich in 2014 and worked at the University of Oslo as an Assistant Professor of Economics from 2014 to 2019. Yikai works on topics such as macro labor, public finance, and political economy. He has published in journals such as the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, etc. Personal website: yikaiwang.weebly.com.
