Biography
My research interests centre around poverty and social inequalities in health, with a particular focus on the intersections between migration, mental health, and loneliness. I am currently working on an NIHR-funded project that examines loneliness and social isolation among young people living in coastal communities. My PhD research at School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol, explores the mental health status of British Nationals (Overseas) (BN(O)) migrants, a recent migrant group in the UK. The study involves an online survey to investigate the association between various socio-economic and individual factors and the mental health outcomes of BN(O)) migrants. Before my doctoral studies, I worked as a research assistant at the School of Public Health and Primary Care, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
