Profile

Biography

Researcher Officer at the University of Essex working on the InChildHealth project, a multinational Horizon Europe project dedicated to improving indoor air quality in spaces occupied by school children. I use a combination of culture-based and molecular methods to characterise bioaerosols and develop tools for the rapid detection of airborne pathogens. I am also studying part-time for a PhD in Microbiology. Primarily, my research focuses on the development and spread of antimicrobial resistance via bioaerosols.
